Ceremonial Opening of the Newly Renovated Premises Centre of Excellence CREATIC

In April 2026, the Centre of Excellence CREATIC will officially open its newly renovated premises. The expansion represents an important milestone in strengthening infrastructure for advanced therapies with one clear objective: improving access to innovative and safe treatment options for patients.

The new facility integrates research, development and manufacturing capacities within one coordinated environment. It has been designed to support the full translational pathway from laboratory discovery to clinical application.

Infrastructure That Serves Patients

The building includes specialised spaces for the production of gene and cell therapies in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. These facilities are essential for ensuring that innovative therapies are developed and manufactured under strict quality and safety conditions.

Advanced therapies offer new possibilities particularly for patients with rare or severe conditions, where conventional treatment options may be limited. By expanding its infrastructure, CREATIC strengthens its ability to accelerate the responsible transfer of innovation into clinical practice.

Commitment to Fair and Responsible Medicine

CREATIC’s mission extends beyond technological excellence. Through initiatives such as Fair Medicine and patient-oriented activities within the KEVIN programme, the centre actively promotes equitable access, transparency and ethical standards in the development of advanced therapies.

Patient involvement, communication and long-term sustainability are integral parts of CREATIC’s strategy. The new premises therefore represent not only a physical expansion, but also a reinforcement of the centre’s commitment to responsible and accessible innovation.

Opening Ceremony

The official opening ceremony will take place in April 2026 and will be conducted in Czech. The event is intended for invited guests and project partners.

The opening of the new premises confirms CREATIC’s long-term ambition: to connect research excellence with real patient impact and to strengthen the region’s position within the European advanced therapy ecosystem.
