CREATIC Conference 2025: Brno positions itself among Europe’s leading ATMP partners
Over two intensive days, experts from research, clinical practice, manufacturing and regulation met to share know-how, strengthen collaboration and discuss how to move ATMPs safely and sustainably from development to patient care. The conference showed that Brno is increasingly seen as a place where European cooperation in advanced therapies turns into concrete action.
The second CREATIC Conference confirmed that Brno is becoming one of Europe’s important partners in the development and production of advanced therapies (ATMPs). Leading experts from universities, hospitals, research infrastructures and regulatory bodies came to the city to share their experience and look for ways to bring innovation to patients safely and sustainably. The motto "Connecting minds in advanced therapies" was more than just a catchphrase – over two intensive days it turned into real collaboration and new professional connections.
The discussions showed that open sharing of know-how, data and standards helps speed up the whole ATMP cycle, from early research and clinical development to GMP manufacturing and integration into patient care. At the same time, it is clear that without ongoing dialogue with regulators, authorities and payers, fair and long-term sustainable access for patients cannot be achieved. Connecting science, clinical practice, manufacturing capacity and health policy is exactly the area where Brno, also thanks to CREATIC, is becoming increasingly visible.
During the conference, CREATIC demonstrated what it can offer: strong expertise, manufacturing facilities currently being upgraded to meet GMP requirements, close links to clinical sites and active international collaborations. This combination appeals to researchers and clinicians, as well as to European partners who see Brno as a reliable place for joint projects.
