No description

The dynamic development of Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs) is fundamentally transforming biomedical research and clinical practice, while also creating growing demand for interdisciplinary expertise. As part of the CREATIC project, a new series of eight micro-certified courses has therefore been developed by Leipzig University, the Fraunhofer Institute for Cell Therapy and Immunology IZI, the University of Copenhagen and Masaryk University.

Together, the courses form a comprehensive educational framework covering key topics such as technological and manufacturing principles, the fundamentals of immunology and oncology, and their connection to advanced therapeutic approaches and practical implementation. The courses are delivered via the Moodle platform, allowing participants to study flexibly at their own pace.

A key outcome of the programme is a micro-credential, providing internationally recognised evidence of the competences acquired. This format reflects current trends in lifelong learning, supports the modular development of knowledge and strengthens professional employability in the rapidly evolving ATMP sector and beyond.

The courses are intended primarily for healthcare professionals and experts in biomedicine, pharmacy and regulatory affairs. At the same time, they are also open to the wider professional community, as well as undergraduate and postgraduate students. Through this initiative, CREATIC offers a structured response to the growing need for continuous education in one of the fastest-developing areas of modern medicine.
