The entire vision CREATIC is not only to deliver ambition research – we are going beyond –    to deliver the results of the research to patients. Its mean the innovation strategy needs to contain as well as the new conceptual way of translating the results to clinical practise, including the new innovative models for reimbursement strategies.

The excellent research in biomedicine has to undergo extremely dangerous way - extreme price growth rates followed with problematic accessibility to new treatments and lack of proper reimbursement schemes. The sustainable fair pricing of the products is quite urgent and painful area, where CREATIC will be providing new scientific data and models in the area of health technology assessment and pharmaco-economics. CREATIC as well will focus on the IP law and the proper use of IP for benefit of the society.

By adopting and integrating the principles of Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI), 
the Centre of Excellence (CoE) will be able to offer patients and society a safe, unique,
and financially sustainable treatment, hereinafter referred to as Fair Medicine.

Our Knowledge Valorisation Unit (KEVIN) brings together experts in pharmacology, pharmacoeconomics, data analysis and regulatory processes in the field of ATMP.

The knowledge and expertise of our colleagues in the KEVIN unit allows us to gather insights that will lead to translating the research activities and results of the CREATIC Centre of Excellence into practical applications, products or services with real economic, social or ethical value to fulfil our common mission to make proposals to improve the availability of medicines for advanced therapies for patients with rare diseases.

They are also tasked with building an intellectual property management strategy to capitalise on the findings of the CREATIC Centre of Excellence's ATMP. The activities of the KEVIN unit are not limited to the Czech Republic. Cooperation with foreign partners within the Horizon Europe project opens the door for cooperation in this field in a broader European context.
