Establishing cooperation with Polish colleagues in the field of treatment of rare cancers in children

Rare tumours in paediatric oncology represent one of the key research topics we will focus on at CREATIC.

Our director Regina Demlová together with our scientific director Prof. Dalibor Valík and Prof. Jaroslav Štěrba, Head of the Department of Paediatric Oncology at the University Hospital Brno, visited their Polish colleagues in Warsaw at the Children's Memorial Health Institute.

They discussed the possibilities of cooperation on clinical trials with cell vaccines and gene therapies, which CREATIC intends to work on.
They met with the Institute's director, got acquainted with the Institute's facilities and discussed possible research collaboration in the field of cell and gene therapies with the team of doctors at the Centre for Paediatric Oncology. 

We believe that this is the beginning of a long-term collaboration that will lead to successful joint results  and sharing of experience in the field of treatment of paediatric oncology patients.
