The CREATIC project has started
On September 1, the CREATIC (Central European Avanced Therapy and Immunotherapy Centre) project officially started.
Traditional treatment based on chemical drugs does not always work for patients with rare diseases. Treatment often focuses on mitigating the symptoms of the disease, but fails to stop the course of the disease itself.
Personalized medicine using cell and gene therapy has the potential to reverse the negative prognosis of patients for whom there is currently no option for conventional treatment.
For this purpose, the CREATIC project was created, which focuses on undiagnosed incurable rare diseases, pediatric patients with high-risk tumors and adult cancer patients suitable for Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMP) treatment.
