Young scientists participated in the ONcology (LION) conference
Young scientists Marie Mlnaříková and Sofiia Lymarenko participated in the ONcology (LION) conference organized by CREATIC project partners: Fraunhofer IZI and Universität Leipzig, and gained new knowledge in the field of immunology, cell biology and genetics. Both scientists from the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University are looking forward to future cooperation with the CREATIC project.
Networking and education is a very important part of the CREATIC project, funded by a grant from the Horizon Europe programme. Two of our young scientists, Marie Mlnaříková and Sofiia Lymarenko, took the opportunity to attend the ONcology (LION) conference, which brings the opportunity to be part of the best discussions and meet participants from clinics, science and industry, organized by our project partners Fraunhofer IZI and Universität Leipzig and returned full of impressions and observations that they shared with their colleagues.
Sofiia Lymarenko describes her impressions of the conference on her LinkedIn profile: " The conference was organized in collaboration with Fraunhofer IZI and Universität Leipzig under the leadership of Ulrike Köhl. The program was full of interesting lectures on immunology, cell biology and genetics. The conference was attended by experts from various parts of Europe, and their research has progressed to such an extent that the first successful applications of medicinal products are already recorded. As employees of Lékařská fakulta Masarykovy univerzity, we were excited by the large amount of new and interesting information and we are already looking forward to working together on the MUNI | CREATIC project.“
