During the working breakfasts we open the space not only for sharing strategies and plans, but above all for informal meetings, which are crucial for our big plans for the future. We want to keep communication open within our team and let everyone know that they are an important part of the CREATIC Centre of Excellence that we are building together at Masaryk University Faculty of Medicine.

On 19 & 20 September, the CREATIC project, which aims to build a centre for research, development and production of gene and cell therapies for patients with rare diseases at the Lékařská fakulta Masarykovy univerzity, was successfully launched. Together with our international project partners Fraunhofer IZI, Leipzig University and University of Copenhagen we spent an inspiring time in Brno. The ceremonial part of our Kick-off meeting took place on literally holy ground. In the rooms of the Mendel Museum and the Mendel Refectory in the Augustinian Monastery, where genetics was born ....
